Privacy notice for the OxClipper waitlist
What we collect
- Your email address, and the date you signed up.
- Your answers to the two optional questions (what you'd clip, which computer you use), if you give them.
- How you found this page: the referring website's domain and any campaign tags in the link (utm parameters).
- Your approximate country, from our hosting provider's network data.
We don't store your IP address.
What we use it for
Only to tell you when the English version of OxClipper opens. That email may include launch pricing or an early-access offer, if there is one. We don't sell, rent or share your email, and we don't add it to unrelated mailing lists.
Visit statistics
We count visits without cookies. To tell apart visitors on the same day, we compute a one-way hash of the network address and browser type, combined with a secret key and the date. The hash can't be turned back into your IP address, and because the date is part of it, visits on different days can't be linked. We also count page views, referring domains and countries.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or fingerprinting, to see aggregate traffic such as page views, referrers, countries and page load speed.
Where it's stored
On Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages and a Cloudflare D1 database).
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or until the waitlist is no longer needed. Daily visit hashes are only used for counting.
Your choices
Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with to see, correct or delete your data. We'll act on it within 30 days.
